Stressed, my mind’s deepest insecurities expressed
I am manically depressed, wishing to convalesce
But insomnia has my ability to sleep repressed.
Pressures to perform and succeed seem to overpower my basic needs;
I wonder if this is how it feels to have ADD.
Trivial in the long run, I guess,
But for now it is weighing heavily on my chest.
I feel like running far away,
Starting out on some grand quest.
The object:
To find myself?
To rid these feelings of dread I posses?
Or is it better to face this head on
To relieve my loneliness
But I digress
